The Role

You will be a critical member of our growing company and will have a number of responsibilities that will include applying payments timely and accurately, maintaining a healthy accounts receivable aging and managing various payment logs. This is a 6-month contract position.

Responsibilities:

  •       Process and apply incoming payments according to policies and procedures
  •       Post lockboxes and credit card payments, wire transfers & ACH
  •       Maintain various payment logs
  •       Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up via email/phone calls to delinquent accounts, make payment arrangements and document collection efforts timely
  •       Perform daily reconciliation to ensure all cash and lock box deposits are reconciled and have been posted to the AR accounting system
  •       Investigate and resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and claims
  •       Assist with invoicing, applying credit memos and other adjustments as necessary
  •       Perform weekly payment reconciliation
  •       Access retail customer portals
  •       Investigate and resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and claims in a timely manner
  •       Access retail customer portals
  •       Assist with audits

Qualifications:

  •       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written with a customer service focus
  •       Minimum 2 years collections and cash application experience
  •       Strong attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
  •       Maintain focus and positive attitude during high volume of work while multi-tasking with changing priorities
  •       High level of initiative and proven history delivering results
  •       A quick learner that is methodical and analytical who possesses excellent organizational skills
  •       Self-motivated, efficient worker with high standards for quality of processes and results who can work independently
  •       Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be a solutions-oriented team player
  •       Strong proficiency in Excel is a must
  •       Experience in NetSuite, Salesforce and Zuora a plus

 

This is a 6-month contract position.
