SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and successful e-commerce company, is looking for a new Associate Category Manager to join our Merchandising Team. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the strategies for our Heating category.
This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Location: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington)
Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time Policy.
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 (Annually)
Responsibilities:
- Support the category strategies, which includes understanding industry trends, product assortments, and product reviews
- Make recommendations to the Category team on new products and brands to launch that align with the category strategy
- Review current products in the category as well as perform product life management for new and existing products
- Manage day to day vendor relationship activities and provide solutions to any topics that need resolution
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional departments to support the category strategy
- Assist with product promotions and educational strategies around new and existing products
- Help support the growth of sales for the categories supported through first to market ideas and the management of product positions
- Work with our customer base to gather insights and determine how to implement those insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred concentrations in Business Management, Merchandising, Engineering, or Marketing)
- 2-3 years of experience in Merchandising and product development (technical ability in the Heating industry is preferred)
- Hard Parts knowledge in industry related fields (Heating preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and retail systems
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Statistical analysis and data manipulation skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while remaining flexible in a high growth environment
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
