What we do:

The Sr. Manager Test Data Operations is responsible for managing employees performing engineering and technical work in test installations and architecture, along with the offboard test data lifecycle management. This includes requirements specific to test installations, design of test installations, supplier management of test parts procurement, fabrication, and assembly, test article installation design planning, and design and implementation of the offboard test data processing, archival, and analysis tool set. The Sr. Manager Test Data Operations develops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.

What you can do:

  • Establish Supernal processes and procedures for designing, implementing, and maintaining airborne and ground-based data acquisition systems
  • Establish processes and procedures for ground-based and airborne telemetry systems, flight test control room, data processing, analysis, and storage
  • Develop and engage employees through coaching, mentoring, and employee performance assessment, as well as identifying growth opportunities and assignments that best fit the needs of the individual and the company
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers and peers
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
  • Partner with PMO organization to implement build plan
  • Up to 25% of domestic and international travel
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years supporting flight test or similar test programs (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a managerial role
  • Experience with various sensors and airborne test systems used in the support of flight test
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and record systems
  • Proficiency in data processing and storage methods and systems
  • Knowledge of test methods and lab procedures
  • Knowledge of Mil Standards, Digital Busses architecture (ARINC, 1553)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Experience using relational databases with some programming skills, SQL, VB, C++, .NET preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:
$232,960$349,440 USD
