Sunlight Financial is looking for an entry level associate who will manage a diverse set of business support functions for our New York City Corporate Headquarters. Responsibilities will be a hybrid mix of business development support and office support. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: (1) Office Management (supplies, catering etc.), which requires communication across multiple locations; (2) Support for the Business Development Team, which includes creation of business development support materials, CRM maintenance, content creation, onboarding and marketing. The associate may also work with the Executive Team to define and manage projects that support not only a growing company but also its teammates. This is a great opportunity to learn about the solar industry, receive hands on training in business development, while helping our team operate smoothly!
Business Development Responsibilities:
Develop and manage business development support materials:
Internal process guides
Onboarding materials for new team members
Channel partner support materials:
Onboarding materials for new partners
Product marketing materials
Organize all content to help the Business Development team locate materials easily and intuitively
Improve our CRM:
Build out our business development pipeline through external lead lists
Import our external database of partnership records into Salesforce, to create a consolidated database for our team
Support of the New York Office:
Handle new hire onboarding as needed
Work with Charlotte HR Operations Manager with event planning focused on team building and volunteerism
Build strong relationships to partner effectively at all levels in the company
Support all other Office Management activities and projects as needed
Replenish office supplies daily to ensure availability to teammates
Interview scheduling for the Business Development Team
Bachelor’s Degree Required
1 - 3 years of related experience and/or interest in Marketing, Sales or Sales Operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates clearly and crisply
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze problems, recommend options and execute solutions independently
Creative, with a high attention to detail
Great attitude with a desire to learn at a highly entrepreneurial company
Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly
Excellent experience with Microsoft Office
