The position

As a Business Development Manager for sunday, you are the one crafting our company growth. It all starts with you!

Part of an ambitious team, the role is a great opportunity to leverage sales skills and abilities in order to expand the number of restaurants that work with Sunday. We are looking for someone who is natural at selling, has a passion for food and restaurants and enjoys negotiating and building partnerships.

Your primary focus will be bringing on new restaurants that fit our partnership criteria and leverage your skills in pitching, negotiating and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success - you will transform Italy’s top restaurants into active and engaged customers. The ultimate goal is to put QR codes on the maximum number of tables across the city.

Job tasks:

  • Own the full Sales Cycle with independent & chain restaurant groups, from first call to contract signing
  • Take the lead in looking for business opportunities in Italy’s major cities
  • Have a great Sales Pitch to facilitate onboarding 
  • Nurture the feedback loop: help your coworkers become better, help the product team understand 

Who we look for:

  • You have at least 2/3 years of experience as a business developer/sales representative
  • Tenacious, talented & thirsty to show people there is a better way to pay & order in restaurants
  • Team-player at heart, you are always here to help your colleagues
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask while efficiently managing priorities
  • You are organised & self-motivated 
  • Strong communication skills, with both prospects and with others at sunday
  • BEYOND, TRUST & SIMPLE really mean something to you
  • Cold calling and business development experience is required
  • A first experience as a business developer in a food tech or a business dealing with restaurants is a real plus, but not mandatory
