🚀 Mission

As part of the Global Growth team, you will be creating & leading sunday's Customer Engagement team, on a mission to keep our user base active and happy.

This implies analysing and formalising our user journey, setting-up a customer engagement platform, building automated multi-channel sequences, and continuously improving them by A/B testing your touchpoints. You’ll be taking full ownership of the function by building and delivering a strong roadmap according to our scale-up objectives & crazy potential. Since your role is global, you'll work with all the countries we operate in (currently France, UK, Spain, US & Canada), in close collaboration with the Product & Brand team.

💪 Tasks 

Your day-to-day tasks will consist of:

  • Formalising our end-user journey to determine needs, blockers & opportunities.
  • Creating automated multi-channel (email, sms & push) sequences to provide relevant information to sunday’s users, at the right time & via the right medium.
    • Onboarding / Activation -- Reduce time-to-value.
    • Nurturing / Upselling -- Increase feature usage and volume of transactions.
    • Retention / Revival -- Prevent churn.
    • Referral / Virality -- Increase k-factor.
  • Continuously monitoring & improving the performance of those sequences by A/B testing each touchpoint’s {subject}, {body}, {timing} & {channel} and personalising messages.
  • Working closely with the Product team to implement the events & properties you need to tailor your communications to each user’s specific needs.
  • Working closely with the Brand team to create jaw-dropping content that will make sunday’s communications stand out and to build a translation pipeline.
  • Being the expert on customer engagement, A/B testing, event tracking and communication personalisation.

🧠 Requirements

  • Hard skills
    • Proficiency in English -- You have excellent written & verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
    • 4+ years of experience in CRM/Lifecycle -- You have a proven track record building automated multi-channel sequences (email, sms & push) with notable & measurable impact. You’ve already used a best-in-class platform such as Customer.io, Braze, LeanPlum or SendInBlue.
    • Hands-on experience with analytics and A/B testing solutions -- You know how to write an event tracking plan and set-up statistically significant A/B tests. You consider yourself an operational beast as you've already made all the mistakes.
    • Email marketing expert -- You’ve already built responsive email templates and you’re very familiar with concepts such as DKIM, SPF, CTR & Liquid Templating Language.
    • Project management competencies -- You are able to clearly communicate processes, strategies and requirements to both internal and external stakeholders and follow-up on the quality and timeliness of deliverables. You've already worked with designers & copywriters.

  • Soft skills
    • Hacker mindset -- You’re passionate, hands-on & autonomous. You take initiatives to get the job done, no matter how hard or technical the problem seems.
    • Rigorous & focused -- You’re pragmatic, efficient and precise which allows you to iterate and find solutions quickly.
