Senior Product Manager, Growth

Sumo Logic is seeking a product management leader that is a self-starter with a growth mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving complex problems.  You will guide product strategies, define the product team’s product led growth (PLG) roadmap, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement product initiatives, from conception to execution.

We expect candidates to be data-driven and experienced in executing growth strategies through A/B testing, user acquisition, retention, and expansion. You understand the product development lifecycle, collaborate across functions, and possess a growth mindset with strong analytical and technical skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide effective communication, leadership, and a customer-centric approach to drive product improvements and achieve rapid growth
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement product initiatives, from conception to execution
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to push the boundaries of technology and create impactful user experiences
  • Leading the PLG Engineering and UX teams to design and implement growth strategies that align with 
  • Conducting extensive data analysis to identify growth opportunities and monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives
  • Overseeing the development and execution of A/B tests and other experiments to optimize product features and user journeys
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, engineering, and design teams to ensure cohesive growth efforts and consistent user experience
  • Working with portfolio product managers to prioritize product enhancements that drive user growth and retention
  • Regularly presenting growth performance and insights to senior management, informing strategic decisions

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record in participating in or leading growth-focused teams, preferably with exposure to a log analytics, security, or observability product areas
  • Data-driven and experience in executing growth strategies through A/B testing, user acquisition, expansion, and retention
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term gains with long-term vision
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving user experience and satisfaction
  • Experience working directly with technical engineering teams and in a matrixed Product Management team environment
  • An ability to navigate complex decision-making and effectively communicate across teams will be critical to success.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams across the organization
  • BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.  An MBA is a plus

Sumo Logic Privacy Policy

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $198,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
