StudyBlue touched 1 in 5 US College students last year. That is just the beginning. We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and energetic CMO to help take our vision to the next level.
The CMO will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of StudyBlue's marketing and sales initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, the CMO's primary responsibility is to accelerate revenue growth by increasing customer acquisition, adoption and engagement. This will be accomplished through successful marketing for the entire organization, using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, digital/traditional advertising and public relations.
The CMO will be expected to deliver the following:
Explore and discover data-driven insights that drive growth in customer acquisition, retention and upsell.
Design the right strategies and processes to carry out the vision in a multichannel world. Plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals.
Be the leader and organizational glue required to drive outcomes that connect Product and Customer.
The CMO will be an integral part of the executive team and responsible for co-managing StudyBlue’s business.

Experience in marketing and managing a direct to consumer digital product or service
Experience with a digital content and/or higher education property is preferred

A proven track record and/or an advanced degree in marketing or MBA
Approximately 10+ years of well-rounded marketing and business growth experience in positions of increasing responsibility
3+ years of experience in a CMO or similar leadership role
