What you will be doing

  • Collaborate closely with various teams to advance our user experience and design initiatives.
  • Deliver pixel-perfect, high-quality user interfaces with a focus on performance and detail.
  • Contribute to the implementation of scalable design systems that enhance consistency and efficiency, while elevating our design culture.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of website, dashboard, documentation and other tools and workflows that support our core products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and engineers, focusing on efficiency to ensure seamless integration between both disciplines
  • Produce and maintain a component library that ensures consistency across all product touchpoints.
  • Bring creative, performant, and well-executed design solutions to life, focusing on interaction, accessibility, and technical quality.
  • Advocate for user-centric designs and deliver solutions that meet business needs and delight customers.

About You

You’re an engineer who deeply appreciates design and consistency. You can faithfully implement a design built in Figma, giving meaningful feedback and even making changes to the design yourself if necessary. You are a team player who enjoys figuring out solutions to complex problems. You have a feeling for design and can translate design to product. You are familiar with the latest technologies in frontend development and love to stay up to date with the latest developments.

You are detail-oriented, mindful of deadlines, and you have a high sense of responsibility. At Stream, we strive to provide the best possible product and service to our clients, and we expect the same from you!

As a member of the team, you must be excited to grow with Stream. At our core, we are a startup - you should be able to act quickly, thrive in uncertainty, and love pivoting to new technologies.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-performance, responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on engineering efficiency and scalability.
  • Expertise in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Work experience with React, TailwindCSS and the usage of APIs is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a passion for optimizing user experience through efficient, scalable code and clear collaboration across teams.

Don’t fall into all of the requirements? You don’t have to match every bullet point as long as you can grow into the role and provide value to the team.

Note: For this role, we require examples of your recent work. Please share your most impressive designs and developments from the past few years.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
