The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications is a crucial role on the rapidly growing communications team that will help continue to drive strong coverage among business press and other external stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will lead and execute our executive thought leadership efforts as well as create a narrative focused on how we amplify and talk about our social impact initiatives.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

Develop and execute a cohesive corporate communications strategy that engages our internal and external corporate stakeholders (potential candidates, investors, policymakers) and leave them inspired by our strategic priorities, long-term vision, and mission.

Help lead Strava’s commitment to becoming an antiracist company and supporting and amplifying the stories of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and under-represented athletes in our community through our communication efforts.

Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with business, tech and national press, key industry opinion leaders and external stakeholders.

Work with executives and teams across Strava including finance, legal, design, engineering, product marketing, brand marketing, people and product.

Represent the communications team in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment around business objectives and to advance broader company initiatives.

Compose, research and edit communications materials including press pitches, press releases, OpEds, talking points, narratives and speeches/presentations for executives.

Conceptualize, manage and execute large-scale data storytelling and research programs in collaboration with data analysts and academic institutions.

We’re excited about you because you have:

At least 7+ years of communications experience; combination of agency and in-house experience strongly desired.

A proven track-record of driving exceptional tier-one media placements with narrative control.

Existing media relationships with business, tech, national and product reporters, editors and outlets.

On the record experience.

Experience managing multiple complex projects with high attention to detail.

Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Poise, are calm and have excellent judgment in high-stakes, high-consequence situations.
