Strava is seeking a Copywriter to address a wide range of our creative needs. Like the rest of our writing team, you’ll have a cross-functional position that will make an impact and build worthwhile experience across the company – from brand to product marketing, BD to UX, local to international. The right person for the role is quick and curious, capable of addressing a problem with many different approaches and then adapting based on what they discover. Write in the voice of Strava for campaigns, activations, experiences and ads
Adapt your work for all of our channels, like blogs, emails, UX and in-app communications
Present concepts, works in progress and final creative to diverse collaborators and partners
Help other brands find their voice and audience when they work with Strava, like in our Sponsored Challenge communications
Collaborate with our Growth team to write subscription offers, onboarding flows, feature education and other tests that help the whole company understand how we can best serve athletes
Partner with more senior creatives on major go-to-market and brand campaigns
Proofread anything and everything that crosses your path
Listen and adapt to feedback from your colleagues and athlete research
Believe in the Strava brand and constantly look to inject our values into the work and advocate in the interests of the athlete

2-4 years of professional copywriting. That said, it’s not all about how many years you’ve been working – it’s also about your maturity as a creative.
Eager and curious. This is fun and dynamic writing that requires an appetite for trying new things and never becoming too attached to the outcome.
A writer’s writer. We’re looking for someone who loves the craft and is passionate about writing, rather than a candidate who wants to zoom out and focus more on strategy or concept.
Strong grasp of the athlete’s lexicon and an informed understanding of what makes them tick. You have to know how to motivate athletes.
Hard-working and autonomous. You’ll be creating meaningful work with little supervision.
Thick-skinned and dependably optimistic. You can balance your desire for perfection with a sense of humor and resilient spirit.
Your tolerance for spelling errors and bad grammar is inspiringly low.
Intellectually curious and globally minded. We serve all kinds of athletes from all kinds of places. We are particularly interested in cultivating anti-racist mindsets and writing craft and expect you to join us in this pursuit.
