Our games teach chess and backgammon to children as young as age three, thanks to our uniquely fun, interactive stories. We grew out of a chess tutoring service called Chess at Three, which continues to be a proving ground for our innovative, story-driven curricula. From a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund Story Time Chess, to winning a 2021 Toy of the Year Award, to the recent launch of Story Time Backgammon in 2023, we’re committed to create fun, engaging games that stimulate whole-child development and bring families together across the game board.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Strategist or Manager to take our social media presence to the next level. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media content strategies to drive brand awareness, community engagement and business growth.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and growing consumer brands on social media, managing influencer partnerships and affiliate programs, and executing email marketing campaigns. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and work remotely, with occasional travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement social media content calendar across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok), based on overarching Marketing strategy
  • Define and implement tactics to increase followership, engagement, traffic, and other relevant social KPIs
  • Build and manage our affiliate program, influencer and PR partnerships
  • Execute email marketing campaigns
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience building and growing consumer brands on social media
  • 2+ years of experience managing influencer partnerships and affiliate programs
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.), graphic design softwares (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and basic video editing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project & time management skills, self-motivation and reliability
  • 1+ year of remote work experience
  • Marketing or business degree (preferred)

  • Experience managing PR agency partnerships
  • Experience with email marketing execution
  • Experience targeting parents
  • Toy and game industry experience

Compensation: $75K - $80K range
