An experienced WFM Manager to oversee our workforce planning and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced forecasting methods and have experience in designing and implementing predictive algorithms like Facebook’s Prophet.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate staffing forecasts using historical data and predictive models.
  • Design, implement, and refine algorithms, such as Prophet, to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand staffing needs and operational goals.
  • Oversee the creation of effective schedules to meet service level objectives while optimizing staff utilization.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, operational challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead a team of WFM analysts, providing coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in WFM technologies and methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience. We value competences vs titles.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in workforce management, preferably in operations but if you know forecasting and staffing, let’s talk.
  • Proven experience with forecasting and predictive modeling. Experience with Facebook’s Prophet is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving forecast accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • You'll need to be sharp with your communication, both in writing and in person. As the team lead, you'll be in charge of presenting our results, breaking down complex concepts, and spreading the word about the essential part that WFM modeling plays across the whole company.
