Job Title: Senior Manager – Business Intelligence
What this position is about:
The Senior Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of Business Performance / Forecasting
Analytics and fostering the use of data in decision making while partnering with the other business
units. They will assist and guide their team in delivering actionable insights that drive business value,
while focusing on how the analyses will impact the business now and into the future.
What you’ll do:
- Create and maintain various forecasting models to predict and measure business performance.
- Work closely with Finance and senior leadership to gain buy-in and alignment on the analytics
roadmap. - Communicate effectively with engineering, marketing, and product to create holistic analytic
solutions. - Turn numbers and data into clear, concise recommendations to help senior leaders make data
driven decisions
About you:
- Experience creating insights, providing solutions and exposing possible areas of opportunity.
- Completed end-to-end data analysis projects.
- Experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests. An understanding of confidence intervals and
noise reduction techniques. - Experience using machine learning techniques in analysis a plus.
- 6+ years of applied experience working performing data analysis.
- 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Required experience using SQL to create data sets.
- Basic statistical knowledge and usage to drive business decisions.
- Demonstrated experience visualizing (Tableau, PowerBI, Etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Economics, Mathematics, Applied Statistics,
Computer Science, Finance).
