About the role

In this role the People Experience ( HR) Manager will support our Tokyo, Japan Operations Center and the Japan team. This person will be responsible for partnering with the Operations teams, Customer Services team and the Corporate team on all activities from employee relations, performance management, change management, interviewing, and organization support. In this role, the HR Manager will have skills of influence and diplomacy and will be, proactive, courageous and inspiring.

 

What you will do

The PX Manager will have a number of critical responsibilities focused on partnering with different departments, scaling our processes, and evolving our employee value proposition strategy:

  • Oversee all aspects of Employee Relations for the business area(s) they support.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, purpose and strategy of the business and design and implement a relevant people support strategy.
  • Partner closely with business leaders and talent acquisition to develop hiring plans that support the Company’s business objectives and strategies.
  • Partner closely with leaders on change management, performance management, employee engagement and other initiatives
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring candidates to ensure we bring diverse talent into the organization and support their development and retention to ensure alignment with our goals.
  • Establish effective partnerships with team leaders as a tenured business partner, providing guidance across key talent decisions, advice and expertise tailored for specific business needs.
  • Utilize data to drive informed people decisions to identify trends; determine root cause of issues and develop effective organizational solutions.
  • Understand and take an influencing role in the application of StockX's total reward philosophy through proactive consultation with the business and partnership with the compensation team.
  • Day to Day HR operations which includes but not limited to attendance, visa applications, job offers, benefits enrolment, employees’ record maintenance etc
  • Other HR initiatives, administrative tasks and projects

 

About you

  • Proven experience in Human Resources
  • Strong experience with employee relations 
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources a plus
  • Proven ability to perform office management duties
  • Experience working in a high-visibility role in a demanding, commercial, fast-paced, and challenging organization
  • Proven ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of constant deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude
  • Capable of building credible relationships quickly at the highest level and inspire trust and confidence
  • Proven ability to deal effectively with change and ambiguity
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload whilst providing excellent service to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills to deliver operational, project and strategic deliverables
  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus
