About Stitch
Stitch is a payments infrastructure company on a mission to make it easier for enterprise businesses to connect to the financial system and build better experiences for their customers.
We are expanding the team to enable Stitch to broaden our product offering and extend our geographical footprint.
Role: You will be working at the core of the product team, leading the design process and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be designing and launching products at the forefront of fintech. Given our constantly evolving environment, you will need to think on your feet and be flexible with your approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Design beautiful, best-in-class end-user experiences across all of our business and consumer user touch points including web, mobile, docs, dashboard
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define the user experience of a product from conception until launch
- Be the first and last point of defence in maintaining and improving our user facing product experience
- Utilise, maintain, and extend our design systems
- Build prototypes of products using appropriate prototyping tools (Miro, Figma, etc.) to demonstrate how a specific user flow and/or interactions will work
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working in product design with strong craft demonstrated through a portfolio of work
- Comfortable working across web and mobile with a portfolio reflecting experience in both platforms
- Experience in all the elements of design required to deliver a complete user experience including UI, UX, visual design, information architecture and prototyping
- Able to create and work with design systems
- Good understanding of componentization, responsive design best practices, accessibility
- Comfortable with the formal elements of design including typography, layout, balance, proportion, colour patterns and iconography
- Experience in working very closely with Engineers is extremely important
Good to have
- Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
- Experience working on payments products
