Dealership Assistant Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • Distribute service work and coordinate activity in the Service department
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
  • Generate all internal repair orders and be the primary point of contact for used car inspections
  • Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
  • Maintain good working relationship and foster positive employee relations.
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments
  • Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
  • Other administrative duties as required

Dealership Assistant Service Manager Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in service writing or management, preferably in a dealership setting
  • Strong knowledge of automotive service
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
