What you will do: 

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in communicating the unique value of Stensul's platform to the market, driving demand, and positioning our solutions as essential tools for modern marketers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to develop and execute marketing strategies that highlight our product’s benefits and drive growth.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive product adoption, customer engagement, and market penetration. Align strategies with Stensul’s business goals and market opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Craft compelling and differentiated messaging that clearly communicates the value of Stensul’s solutions. Develop product positioning that resonates with target audiences and supports sales and marketing efforts.
  • Campaign Development: Design and execute high-impact marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and demand. Collaborate with the marketing team to create content, collateral, and assets that support campaign objectives.
  • Launches: Lead the launch of new and enhanced products into the marketplace.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively communicate Stensul’s value proposition and drive sales. Develop sales collateral, presentations, and product documentation.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to refine product messaging and identify new opportunities for growth. Work with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for product improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management to provide market feedback and influence product development. Coordinate with other departments, including engineering, design, and support, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, measure ROI, and report on key metrics.
  • Build a high performance product marketing team by hiring, mentoring, and inspiring staff

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on SaaS or technology products. Experience in marketing technology or platforms is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing technology landscape and trends. Familiarity with ESPs/MAPs, project management platforms, and digital asset management systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging and present to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using marketing analytics tools to measure and optimize performance.
  • 3+ years managing a team of product marketers 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
