Job title: Senior Management Accountant

Reporting to: Deputy Global Financial Controller
Location: Hybrid - London

Enable the company’s leaders to make better business decisions by preparing and presenting accurate and meaningful financial and management information to and meet the company’s objectives.
Job Role:
Duties
- Preparation and analysis of P&L reporting per region/department monthly
- Provide support to Regional Leads in all finance related aspects where required.
- Assist the FC in preparing and reviewing consolidated management accounts.
- Manage, coach, and develop Financial Accountant/s.
- Review and submit month end accounts for STEM legal entities assigned to you and your team.
- Working closely with all Financial Accountants and the rest of the Finance team to ensure Group deadlines are met.
- Assist in dealing with audit queries.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Working collaboratively with FP&A on updating P&L actuals in the Forecast model
- Assist FC and FP&A in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast for the whole STEM Group and uploads to Group systems.
- Collaborate in SOx initiatives.
Responsibilities
- To ensure STEM’s financial position is accurately reported monthly in line with the Group’s reporting timetable.
- Take full responsibility on timely production of Regional and Department P&L
- Take full ownership of all STEM legal entities assigned to your team.
Other
- Ad hoc assistance to the Finance team as and when required
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications needed
- Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
- Experience in production of group management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience of working in a subsidiary of a listed company
- Evidence of having led & developed talent within a Finance Team
- Previous experience with Oracle or similar accounting systems beneficial but not required.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
