The Head of Accounts will work alongside SteelHouse’s Client Services team, a group of account management professionals who specialize in the exciting world of online display advertising. The team is seeking an energetic, motivated team member with 6-8 years of management experience and the ability to lead conversations with customers daily in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. Leading a team of 20+ Account Directors and Managers while working as the main technical and strategic resource on each of their assigned accounts, the Head of Accounts is responsible for driving the performance and KPI goal of each advertiser while maintaining a strong relationship with our Sales Executives.


You will:


  • Become the expert on the SteelHouse platform, supporting other teams when needed
  • Support the sales team in explaining the company vision, platform, and SteelHouse capabilities to prospective clients
  • Quickly acclimate advertisers to SteelHouse products and set expectations for the lifecycle of campaigns
  • Consult with senior members of client’s eCommerce and Digital Marketing teams in determining concrete performance goals and attribution percentages to align data
  • Develop benchmarks and monitor reports to measure how online marketing campaigns are performing and suggest how to optimize toward specific goals
  • Analyze and present campaign performance on weekly calls to ensure all parties are pleased with advertising performance
  • Identify areas of expansion to drive revenue and further account growth through up-selling beyond current utilization of SteelHouse products
  • Provide budget recommendations based on site behavior and campaign performance while effectively monitoring current campaign budget pacing
  • Foster relationships to ensure account growth, client satisfaction, and retention
  • Develop creative strategies that provide strategic context and insight for creative idea generation
  • Attend quarterly onsite visits by presenting recent performance, identifying new opportunities, and collaboratively developing additional strategies with client
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis (market size, competitive benchmarks, trends, opportunities, customer needs and expectations)


You have:


  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in quantitative/analytical or marketing/sales/consulting field
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in affiliate marketing, display advertising, online marketing, or social marketing
  • 6-8 years total management experience
  • Understanding of analytical software including Omniture, Coremetrics, and Google Analytics
  • Experience working for consumer internet brands
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret in-depth analyses, uncover actionable insight, and effectively communicate to the broader organization
  • Strategic and operational experience
