We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Opto-mechanical Engineering to join our team!
Position Summary Grow and manage a team of opto-mechanical design engineers to design, integrate, test, and transfer to production complex, reliable high speed imaging systems.
How You’ll Contribute
Manage a local and remote team of opto-mechanical engineers to own the design of a complex high speed imaging system
Use your expertise in precision mechanics to mentor junior engineers and oversee the design process, from requirements to final testing.
Work with vendors and machine shops to ensure quality and reliability of parts
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Masters or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with 7+ years of related experience
At least 5 years of experience executing on precision mechanical design assemblies
1-3 years of managerial experience
Experience in managing engineers during a product development cycle
Expert knowledge of Solidworks or equivalent design software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
