About the role
 
The Funder will be responsible for executing their assigned roles and functions with timeliness, expert accuracy, and precision. They will be excited to join the ‘title company of the future’. They will drive their team to quickly and seamlessly adopt innovative technology to streamline the title and curative process. They will proactively meet customer needs and provide a delightful closing experience. They will collaborate with their Operations Manager to create an efficient, enjoyable work environment. They will have the amazing opportunity to work in a remote-based setting, with possible occasional travel to States Title’s Irvine location.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Receipt incoming settlement funds.
  • Disburse all outgoing settlement funds in accordance with Closing Instructions and fully executed Closing Disclosure.
  • Review all funds for accuracy prior to disbursement including dollar amount, payee information, wire information and payment address.
  • Assist Escrow Accounting with monthly reconciliation exceptions.
  • Review and pay vendor invoices monthly.
  • Assist internal Compliance department with any Escrow related audit details at the file level.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • 3+ years escrow experience
  • Proven mastery of the funding process requirements, including state-specific nuances.  Proficiency in Resware a plus!
Ability to:
  • Work in an exciting and fast paced environment.
  • Work within company stated SLA’s.
  • Excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Own your ability to deliver excellent, error-free service throughout the funding process.
  • Passion for multitasking and context-switching.
  • Comfort with constant change and process improvement.
  • Highly proficient computer skills and open to learning new software/ programs often.
  • Bonus: Previous remote work experience.
