You are fired up to:

  • Solve tough problems and work with new technologies to design and execute
  • Share your ideas, while obsessing about user experience and high quality work
  • Bridge the gap between Product and Development teams
  • Respectfully challenge the status quo on development, product and operational procedures to deliver the maximum value for the business
  • Work in a fast paced environment as part of the Engineering team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for the States Title family of companies
  • Utilize your knowledge of modern software development methodologies
  • Dive deep and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity

You have:

  • Experience contributing to an agile team by driving user story analysis and feature grooming, designing and developing thorough test-cases and test scenarios
  • Experience with .NET core, full-stack development and experience with automation tools 
  • Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) by successfully guiding the team to identify and write test specifications before development begins
  • Experience creating & maintaining automated tests running in a continuous integration environment
  • The ability to code and own the automated testing suite, while making the scrum team accountable to increase code coverage on new and legacy code
  • The ability to ensure excellent application usability through careful manual testing
  • Experience working with Product Owners to encourage stories that have defined acceptance criteria (the how) 
  • Successfully collaborated with product & development teams to plan, test and release high-quality features in applications
  • Successfully identified nonfunctional requirements 
  • Experience working as part of a Development (Scrum) team to iteratively test concurrently with feature development
  • Experience analyzing and creating end point mocks to aid in testing assists in estimation and assessment of feasibility of features
  • Experience following and helping to cultivate consistent development best practices
  • Experience writing automated tests and custom automation frameworks
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
  • 5 years of technical experience in a software development organization 
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science (preferably Computer Science, Engineering or other related STEM fields)
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Development (preferred)
  • Knowledge of a variety of distributed infrastructure technologies and systems
  • Experience researching and identifying efficiencies leading to a faster time to market
