The Role

The Finance Associate will join our team at a critical point in the continued evolution of our business.
Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, the successful candidate will support the
North American Title Company Agency and Operations business units, providing both consistent and ad-hoc analytical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance monthly reporting processes and presentations
  • Provide thoughtful variance commentary / analysis to explain business results
  • Build budgets / forecasts and attend periodic reviews with business partners
  • Set short- and long-term financial targets, and provide reliable tracking reports to field employees
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support across a wide-breadth of Finance-related requests

Position Requirements

The Finance Associate will join States Title with 3-5 years of professional experience from world-class
Finance organizations.  No industry-specific expertise is required, but experience in financial services
and/or fintech is a plus. She/he will be highly motivated and have the ability and desire to have an impact
on the future of the business.  The successful candidate will have a solutions-based mindset, a strong
customer focus, and will be an advocate of the States Title culture and values.   

Ideal Experience

  • 3-5 years of Finance experience, preferably in FP&A and/or Lead Financial Officer roles
  • Prior background working in an organization with a highly regarded finance team
  • Experience in Financial Services and/or Technology industries is a plus, as well as a high-pace, hyper-growth company
  • Expertise in financial modeling and presentation

Education
An undergraduate degree is required, with a focus in Finance or a related field
