The Opportunity

The People Business Partner will join our team at a critical point in the continued evolution of our business. The successful candidate will have a Human Resources generalist background with extensive experience in all facets of employee relations. The People Business Partner will play an integral role in the design, delivery, and ongoing evaluation and execution of employee relations’ strategies and tactics that enable employees to succeed personally and professionally as they contribute to the company’s success.

Measures of Success for the People Business Partner:

  • Actively participate in the evolution and implementation of a comprehensive Employee Relations strategy that is aligned to the organization’s vision, values, objectives, and priorities. 

  • Assist in defining, developing, implementing, and maintaining Employee Relations. 

  • Participate in the day-to-day execution of employee relations support relative to counseling leaders in the creation of performance and/or behavioral interventions. 

  • Mediate challenging interactions as necessary, coach and advise employees regarding company practice and policy interpretation.

  • Identify opportunities to capture employee feedback and evaluate overall engagement indexes.

  • Seek opportunities to strengthen collaborative relationships between the People Team and its many stakeholders including line leadership, senior management, other support functions, our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) partner, and all frontline staff.

  • Continually assess compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local employment laws, consulting with legal counsel as appropriate.

What you should bring to the table as our Ideal People Business Partner:

  • 5-7+ years of total Human Resources experience with 3 or more of those years in an employee relations function.

  • Track record of successfully supporting leaders and employees across geographies, cultures, and business units.

  • Experience implementing  programs, processes and ideas in a practical, consumable manner.

  • Experience in partnering with the business through organizational design and restructuring activity.

  • Experience in the design and facilitation of employee training.

  • Confidence establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. 

The successful candidate will be a thought leader, have a strong customer focus, and be a champion of States Title’s culture and values.
