Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to work on site in our Bellevue, WA office.  

Responsible for:

  • “Full-stack” analog and digital PCB design, including layout, component selection, sourcing, verification, fabrication, testing and validation.
  • Design of embedded systems, especially low-power devices.
  • Radio / antenna design and power transfer optimization for embedded devices. 
  • Firmware development, including for embedded systems.
  • Designing test infrastructure including hardware fixtures and test software.
  • Planning, conceptualizing, and creating designs for new products, focusing on stackup selection, material selection.
  • Creating and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Multiple years of experience designing and validating circuits and embedded systems, especially for wearable consumer products and/or medical devices.
  • An ability to create, build and test the performance of prototypes, and to do the same with other integrated equipment or systems.
  • A background with practical application in engineering science, physics, mathematics and EE fundamentals.
  • A broad understanding of neuroscience and neuromodulation applications.
  • Ability to explain and apply physical principles to system design, including: electromagnetics, heat flow, mechanical deformation.
  • A master’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related field, foreign equivalent, or five years of progressive experience in research and product development roles.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn from others.
  • The ability to successfully work collaboratively in a flat organizational structure.
  • Able to function as an individual contributor, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work with vendors, contractors and related disciplines.
