This is a full time role and can be based remotely anywhere in Italy on an ongoing basis. Standard AI is a fully remote company. We want our employees to have the flexibility to create work habits, locations, and schedules that best fit their lives.
What you'll do here:
- Build video pipelines to stream data from cameras to both local and cloud applications
- Write high-performance, compiled software to process and deliver data to our production systems and ML teams
- Work with cloud platform teams to design, develop, debug and support our scalable data platform, and its internal services.
- Work with the application teams to design, develop, debug and support new use-cases for video ingestion, retrieval and manipulation
- Work on our tech stack, which includes Rust, gstreamer, GCP/GCS, Docker/Kubernetes, opentelemetry/grafana
What you’ve done before:
- You’ve developed great coding skills, and are proficient in at least one compiled system language, such as Rust, C++, Go
- You’ve created video streaming pipelines and you grew familiar with the challenges involved and ways to address them
- You’ve worked on code optimization, and are able to write applications that make efficient use of resources
- You’re comfortable with cloud environments, containerization frameworks and continuous integration platforms
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English

We offer very competitive compensation. In addition to the Base Salary, we also offer Stock Options and Best-in-Class Benefits. The total compensation package will depend on multiple factors such as location, level, related experience and interview performance.
