About The Team:

The Auctane North American Sales Organization leads the company’s efforts to grow market share and increase revenue. We play a key role in building loyalty and trust with our customers. Our developed and motivated Sales teams implement marketing strategies and business processes which ensure sales targets are maximized.

About The Role:

As a Field Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for growing revenue and expanding the company’s market share through new client acquisition by prospecting and closing new business within a defined territory. Our Field Sales professionals enjoy working from their home office, strong support from our Sales Operations team, and a lucrative commission plan!

Location/Territory State:

  • GA, AL, MS, AR, LA
  • Preferred home based location is Atlanta, GA

 Primary Objectives:

  1. Prospect for new clients.
  2. Deliver product value proposition.
  3. Develop and maintain channel partner relationships.
  4. Close new business.
  5. Regional/Territory strategy planning to drive revenue.

 What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Prospecting for new clients

  • Develop lead lists.
  • Cold call prospective clients via in-person, telephone, email, and other outreach activities.
  • Overcome customer objections.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Generate sales territory activity tracking, sales forecasts, and other business data reports.

2. Deliver product/solution value proposition.

  • Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products/services will best fit their needs.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of our carrier partner service and company’s product line.
  • Attend trade shows as needed.
  1. Develop and maintain channel partner relationships.
  • Partner with channel sales representatives to increase market share and drive new acquisitions of channel partner relationships.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to USPS and channel partner sales representatives

3. Close new business.

  • Travel to client sites, meet with decision makers, and drive acquisition.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the sales process and periodically after implementation.

4. Regional/Territory strategy planning to drive revenue.

5. Identify business targets, required resources and activities required to retire sales quota.

6. Performs other related duties as required.

 What We Are Looking For:                                                 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Two to Four (2-4) years of experience in field B2B sales.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B SaaS products
  • API understanding preferred.
  • Role requires a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to quickly build effective relationships.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly professional.
  • Must be detail and action oriented.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to understand/ explain information of a technical nature.
  • Ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate products and match their advantages to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What will Make You Stand Out:                                                    

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2MB SaaS products
  • API understanding preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus

 The Tech:                                           

  • LinkedIn and Salesloft experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite
  • SalesForce CRM experience a plus

Travel Requirements:                 

  • Up to 50%
