Role Description:
Stages Learning is seeking a proven, talented, energetic, quota- carrying sales performer to join our growing team. The Head of District Partnerships will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory, drive revenue growth by executing on their sales strategy, and obtain new customers in their assigned space.
You will work as a trusted advisor to understand the unique challenges and goals relating to special education, working with school districts to position the right Stages Learning solutions to solve their needs. This is accomplished by scheduling and leading a variety of sales calls including (but not limited to) discovery meetings, product demonstrations, negotiation calls and presentations. In addition, you will be responsible for building a territory plan, accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and referable customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Market Research to identify opportunities and evaluate customer needs
- Achieve new business revenue quota by selling ARIS curriculum, services, and professional development to K-12 accounts in the New England territory (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine)
- Develop and successfully execute territory plans by prioritizing accounts, generating new business activity (including cold outreach), and cultivating complex school district accounts from the top down and the bottom up
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, sales meetings, and on-site prospect and customer visits. Identify conferences that present key opportunities in your territory.
- Create an adequate number of opportunities determined by quota or business need to support revenue targets through prospecting efforts
- Create and thoroughly qualify leads & sales opportunities to a point of being able to strategize, negotiate & close business
- Monitor existing customers to identify upsell opportunities and ensure fidelity of implementation and limit churn
- Maintain account records and opportunity forecasting within our internal HubSpot system
- Attend relevant industry conferences, create and execute email campaigns, and other marketing channel activity designed to generate leads
Role Requirements:
- 3+ years of successful account executive or field sales experience in an Education curriculum or Ed Tech company; experience selling in the Special Education market is a plus.
- At least 3+ year of experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM tool
- At least 3+ year of experience with new business development and building, planning and executing a successful territory plan
- Demonstrated history of consecutively achieving or exceeding sales quota through large enterprise districts
- Experience with prospecting and cold calling into complex, enterprise level accounts
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills with demonstrable ability to understand our programs and deliver successful presentations to decision-makers
- Ability to bring in K-12 expertise to communicate effectively with prospective and existing K-12 clients; former educator experience is a plus
- Understand and keep up to date with industry, account and competitive landscape knowledge
- Has a growth mindset that thrives in a culture of coaching, feedback, and encourages self reflection and personal development
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Compensation:
In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position. The estimated annual base pay range for this role is $70-150K.
- In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for commission.

Compensation for the role will be determined based on permissible, non discriminatory factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
