The eCamps team at Stack Sports operates youth sports camp across the United States. We offer training programs for campers ages eight to eighteen in ten different sports: tennis, field hockey, lacrosse, squash, softball, rugby, wrestling, swimming, water polo and golf. Since 2001, eCamps, Inc. has provided over 100,000 athletes with programs and training to improve their skills and performance.

Position Summary:

eCamps is looking for a Sport Manager in its field hockey department (Revolution Field Hockey Camps, the largest operator in the country).  This position is located in Fairfield, CT. Candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the field hockey business. We are looking for an energetic and organized team player to work with camp directors, coaches, and facilities. This employee will also be responsible for marketing within the field hockey community and new business development.

General Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop and cultivate field hockey instructor network
  • Analysis of new markets for camp and program development
  • Assist in development of financial projections and P&L for field hockey business
  • Development of marketing plan
  • Managing the procurement and delivery logistics for camp supplies and merchandise
  • Continual review and refinement of curriculum to ensure best in class instruction
  • Lead customer service and communications for all field hockey programs
  • Serve as primary contact for all field hockey camp staff and facilities
  • Work cross-collaboratively with other eCamps sport managers on company-wide initiatives, synergies, and best practices

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Field Hockey experience as a player, coach, or administrator
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport with customers and instructors over the phone and email
  • Customer service or account management experience
  • Creative thinker with entrepreneurial spirit driven to achieve sales goals
  • Experience using online software platforms a plus
  • Ability to quickly understand products and services and effectively identify how they can provide value to a prospective customer
  • General computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).  Knowledge of Adobe products a plus
