About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Director based in Texas to play a pivotal role in Spruce’s growth. The primary responsibility of the RSD is to drive and grow new business for Spruce. This will require you to serve as a subject matter expert in the industry and our platform. This is a client-facing role requiring deep industry expertise, proven ability, and a broad base of industry contacts.

What You Get to Do

  • Present and sell Spruce’s Lifestyle Services platform to multifamily real estate owners and managers
  • Analyze and build a pipeline of qualified leads for potential Spruce clients
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with property, regional managers, property owners and management groups
  • Organize and maintain all sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce to track progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Communicate and evangelize the successes of strategic partnerships to internal stakeholders
  • Represent Spruce at local and regional industry conferences
  • All other duties as assigned

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in business development role within the multifamily housing industry
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working closely with organizational leaders with a high degree of business acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizations
  • Ability to execute on sales goals and quotas
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in writing, in person, or by phone. You use your consulting skills to be able to get to the bottom of all sorts of questions
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred
  • Bonus points: Experience in a start-up, SaaS, multi-family, real estate, or hospitality company
