We are seeking an RFP & Knowledge Base Manager with expertise in technical writing and data manipulation. This person will develop engaging content, proposal assets, and other tools in support of overall proposal development, with the goal of achieving Spring Health’s business goals. They will partner with Employer Strategy and Sales on individual proposals and manage relationships with Marketing, Security, and Legal teams to ensure proposal compliance.
Our ideal candidate will feel comfortable mining and manipulating data and technical information to provide technical documentation, content messaging, and proposal attachments and assets. The candidate will also have experience conducting research and taking messaging content provided and managing a knowledge library of online content. Having a strong academic background along with a penchant for project management and the ability to work efficiently and autonomously is very important for this position. The role will report to the Director of Proposal Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage RFP and RFI response projects
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to write and edit powerful technical responses for RFPs and RFIs in support of a large team of internal clients, Sales Directors, and Account Executives
- Maintain and expand a database of pre-written content to improve proposal quality and proposal / sales / SME team productivity
- Become a power user of reporting platforms, conducting research, gathering technical information, and producing engaging reports, proposal tools, and attachments
- Manage relationships with designer to provide proposal attachments and assets (slicks, tables, slides, and charts) as needed
- Run network availability reports and support AEs in the development of pricing models
- Follow internal processes to secure needed legal and security documents in support of RFP/RFI and due diligence compliance
- Ensure that the right internal intelligence is collected to help make strategic decisions regarding content
- Stay abreast of changing messaging, new product launches, company policies, and content in the support and maintenance of the company’s content library and marketing assets
- Piece together scattered responses from across a diverse group of subject matter experts and ensure all content is consistent and tailored for individual prospective clients
- Support Proposal Operations and Sales teams in planning, producing, and delivering consistent and professional proposals within a complex business environment under strict guidelines and deadlines
- Ensure draft responses to RFPs and RFIs are compliant and professionally produced within customer defined requirements and timeframes
- Develop expertise, understanding, and knowledge of proposal platforms, including RFPio, Proposal Tech, RFP360, Scout, Mercer VIP, Shortlister, Jaggaer, GEP, Ariba Commerce, Power Advocate, and others, as needed
What we expect from you:
- You have a solid understanding of B2B experience in the technology sector, corporate communications, and new business proposal development; you are capable of becoming a power user of Salesforce and Loopio
- You have a bachelor’s degree compatible to job responsibilities and requirements; masters degree preferred
- You are kind and value working with a team and the development of relationships with your colleagues
- You have experience working in Tech and enjoy data manipulation
- You have proven ability in analyzing RFP requirements and synthesizing information to support win themes and value propositions
- You have excellent written and oral presentation skills and a proven ability to understand and communicate technical concepts in a compelling and persuasive manner
- You have excellent project management skills to facilitate results across functional groups and organizations, including geographically dispersed organizations
- You are organized and deadline oriented, able to prioritize workloads and develop resources as needed to meet deadlines
- You are intellectually curious, committed to mental healthcare, and able to translate complex subject matter
- You have experience with proposal software platforms, including, but not limited to, RFPio, Loopio, Proposal Tech, Scout, RFP360, and others
- You are a high performer, yet a collaborative and cross-functional player who thrives in a culture of accountability and entrepreneurship
- You obsess about achieving the company’s goals and are relentless in pursuing them; you consider the success of others your success and flourish in a meaningful support role
The target salary range for this position is $106,400 - $138,400, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
