The Opportunity:
We’re expanding our courses and launching a Tech Sales Bootcamp. The course is 100% online and part time. Over 12 weeks, students will collaborate in live workshops, progress through the curated curriculum and complete hands-on projects. Students will engage with sales experts and classmates during workshops, build and manage sales pipelines by learning how to maximise CRM programs, LinkedIn, competitor tools and more, and have personal career coaching.
We are looking for a detail-oriented grader to grade assessments that students complete in this online bootcamp course. You will utilize existing materials to assist with grading submissions in a timely manner and provide written feedback to students as they proceed through the course. This is a remote, part-time contract role with a flexible schedule, reporting to the Outcomes Program Manager. The weekly hours commitment may vary, and will depend on the number of assessments graded. The expected time commitment for March will be approximately 5 hours per week, and then increase to approximately 10 hours per week beginning in April. Each assessment is expected to take around 15 minutes to grade. We expect most grading to occur on weekends, so weekend availability is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide written feedback on assessments informed by Springboard’s rubrics, feedback will lead to student growth
- Evaluate student assessments in a timely manner to give them quick written feedback
- Provide clarity on their strengths and weakness, and expand on feedback when necessary
- Escalate at-risk students through appropriate channels and Program Manager
- Graders will review the following assessment submissions:
- Writing a cold email
- Prepping for an unscheduled call and leaving a voicemail
- Preparing for and leaving a video message
- Sending a linkedin request following RRR
- Identifying parts of a qualitative call (QC)
- Preparing qualification questions
- Preparing relevant stories
- Opening a scheduled call
- Opening an unscheduled call
Experience:
- Experience in education, providing feedback following a rubric
- Experience as a teacher, teaching assistant or other education professions
- Ability to grade objectively and fairly in alignment with a rubric
- Ability to provide feedback based on a rubric
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to strike a balance between maintaining objective grading baseline and allowing subjective considerations
- Ability to meet deadlines within tight timelines
- Possess a growth mindset and be able to receive feedback
- Pay is $25/hour
