We are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as a Freelance (Senior) User Experience Designer UX/UI (f/m/d) on a 4 months full-time contract to start immediately. The role can be based in Berlin or Leipzig or remote.
What You´ll Do
- Conceptualizing and designing UX/UI solutions to optimize the user experience with the goal of ensuring intuitive and seamless user journeys as well as consistent “state-of-the-art” designs for our shops across all digital touchpoints.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders, product managers, developers and UX researchers to create user-centric concepts that enhance the user experience, customer satisfaction, and conversion rates.
- Confidently presenting inspiring ideas and well-thought-out concepts that excite the team and stakeholders.
- Conducting UX audits, benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
- Preparing, conducting, and following up on discovery and requirements workshops (e.g., Design Thinking).
- Creating user stories, customer journeys, user flows, and wireframes.
- Developing hypotheses for design experiments, creating low- and high-fidelity designs and prototypes, and testing/validating of design hypotheses.
- Continuously improving existing designs based on user feedback and analytical data.
- Developing and refining holistic UI and branded interaction concepts, as well as their documentation.
- Developing and evolving scalable design systems (Figma) in close collaboration with frontend developers (process, handover, Storybook supervision).
- Ensuring high-quality standards in designing and delivering innovative UX/UI outcomes.
- Planning and designing usability and concept tests in close collaboration with our user researchers and supporting the execution and evaluation of usability and A/B tests.
What You´ll Bring
- Ideally a degree in User Interface, Communication, Product, Human-Centered, Experience, or Interaction Design.
- Substantial experience in UX/UI design, preferably in e-commerce or agency settings.
- Strategic UX: an impressive portfolio / case studies showcases your strategic UX concepts and aesthetic UI design skills.
- Design system Pro: in building & maintenance of design systems, handover documentation, and establishing design processes that enhance efficiency & quality.
- Prototyping: High-fidelity prototypes demonstrate fluid UX, engaging interactions, and micro-animations.
- Adaptable approach to work & hands on experience in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive, collaborative, and curious attitude.
- You are always up to date with the latest technologies and have a strong affinity for fashion, lifestyle, and e-commerce.
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
