As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as the Product Owner (f/m/d) and drive our business forward. 

What Will Your Role Be

As our Product Owner (f/m/d) you will be part of a department consisting of product owners and project managers. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact within a dynamic and collaborative environment. We work within cross-functional teams to constantly evolve our product portfolio aiming to create the best possible user experience by taking full advantage of innovations in technology. We advocate design-driven product development and analytics-driven decision making. This role is full-time and offers the flexibility to work on-site (hybrid) at our Leipzig headquarters.

What You'll Do

• You will be responsible for and will guide through the entire development cycle as well as manage the product backlog with prioritisation, trade-offs and constraints
• You will work with the team to create the product vision and set up the roadmap
• You will be the mediator between tech, business and the customer
• You will work closely together with our developers on achieving the best possible outcome
• You will do qualitative and quantitative research and testing together with our user research and analytics department to understand the needs and impact of changes
• You will define relevant metrics and KPIs to measure your teams actions
• You will Integrate with and/or maintain 3rd party tooling and processes

What You´ll Bring

• Solid product-management experience using agile techniques or experience working in an eCommerce environment and on-site searches or experience with optimization of distribution channels, such as managing Google Ads or Market Places
• Have an understanding of large scale e-commerce platforms and shop systems
• Place great importance on prioritizing along competing priorities and making educated decisions
• A good understanding of data and analytical thinking
• Strong experience in stakeholder collaboration, communication and documentation
• Structured approach to work and ability to explain complex matters
• Ability to create a vision and break it down into actionable steps
• Growth mindset and positive attitude
• Fluency in English (German is a plus)

Nice to have:

• Understanding of technical architecture
• Understanding of mathematical matters & rating systems
• An engineering background
