What You’ll Do:

Spotter is seeking a Social Media Manager that will be responsible for managing Spotter’s social media accounts in support of Brand and Product marketing initiatives. You will work to amplify premium Creator focused digital content, product education content, and case studies, as well as supporting content published by Creator partners. You will co-develop the creation of social media forward content that resonates with Creators, Brands, and emerging audiences. This role will work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Creator, and Product teams to shape the brand’s communication across all social media platforms and communities, with a clear understanding of platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, IG, Snap, TikTok, X, Discord, and Reddit. This role will require creative storytelling, working with the Spotter brand voice, supporting Creator focused products, and working with Creator led content. The right candidate will have deep experience with social media channel and publishing strategies, working with Creator partner content, flawless channel management and detailed performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of organic social content and publishing strategy for Spotter’s YouTube and social channels, with a thoughtful point of view that supports our Creators, our products, and our brand.
  • Oversee the creation and management of social publishing calendar and collaborate with our creative partners, internally and externally, to ensure that all content is being put on the right platform at the right time for the right audience - on brand and on strategy.
  • Represent social marketing in cross-functional interactions with key team members and high visibility partners, including Marketing, Product, Creator Experience, and Ad Sales teams.
  • Present social marketing strategy, creative concepts, and performance results to internal leadership.
  • Attend shoots or events when necessary to capture content and post event coverage where on brand for Spotter.
  • Identify relevant and significant ways for Spotter to participate in Creator culture and fan conversations, while not acting like a Creator or Creator brand. Protect Spotter’s partnership as a brand platform for (and with) Creators.
  • Act as a social authority and trusted advisor in critical areas, ranging from genre expert to knowledge on the latest trends in YouTube, social, online communities, as well Creator and productivity software products.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years experience building strategy and managing core social channels at a consumer brand. Background working with and in support of YouTube Creators a plus. Experience with consumer SaaS social media management is also a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing engaging and innovative social media strategies, from branded content to detailed product tutorials, while growing engaged audiences on organic social channels.
  • Knowledge of internet, AI and Creator culture, and know what's trending on top social platforms.
  • Experience understanding data and insights to drive learning. Ability to quantify social media channel performance.
  • Experience running several campaigns in a fast paced, start up environment and problem-solving through creative critical thinking.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
