What You’ll Do

Spotter is seeking a Director, Growth Marketing. In this role you will play a pivotal part in steering our subscriber acquisition strategy across all marketing channels, including search, social, display, affiliate, community and beyond. This role is responsible for meeting subscription growth and revenue goals. We are looking for someone who has proven experience developing paid and non-paid growth strategies within unit economic frameworks. Your role will involve a combination of strategic leadership and executional excellence.

  • Own Spotter’s acquisition marketing strategy and tactics across channels, including building data-informed business cases and driving alignment around prioritization of growth marketing investment recommendations
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly new subscriber acquisition and marketing spend targets and consistently deliver against them.
  • Define and meticulously track KPIs and performance metrics, driving efficiency in budget allocation and program performance by evaluating campaign ROI and adjusting tactics as necessary.
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives to align our go-to-market approach, fostering collaboration across teams and establishing streamlined processes for efficiency.
  • Build and manage a high performing team of growth marketers over time.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in developing and executing growth marketing initiatives for consumer SaaS or subscription products.
  • Experience building global marketing campaigns and managing a media budget with clear visibility into KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, LTV:CAC and payback periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach business challenges with creativity, innovation, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Hands-on experience across diverse digital channels, including SEO, SEM, Display, Social, Affiliate and Influencer.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development, scalability, and achieving organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies and project prioritization in deadline-driven environments, with an ability to balance and effectively prioritize numerous projects and initiatives.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills to interpret and derive meaning from data and optimize campaign performance.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation, omnichannel strategies, funnel optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Proven ability to seamlessly oscillate between 30,000 foot view strategy and the details of execution.
  • Strong customer focus, instinct, and passion.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
