So, what is an SDR at Sponge?

Job titles can be an enigma these days, so let’s break it down a little! Our SDR’s, play a key role in Business Development. They are accountable for opening doors, building relationships, and arranging qualified high-value meetings. With their intelligent and effective outreach strategies via email, phone, and social, they identify and develop opportunities for our Business Development & Account Managers.

But they can't do this alone. SDR’s develop robust partnerships across our Sponge disciplines. Communication is at the heart of their role; regularly engaging with corporate prospects and working closely with creative teams to deliver and inspire with holistic Sponge solutions.

We need people who will:

  • Be proactive in supporting our growing client portfolio
  • Successfully build contacts, create opportunities, book sales discovery calls and enthuse prospects
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop and execute effective outreach strategies
  • Effectively track conversations through our CRM system

We need people who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in B2B corporate business development
  • A desire to develop and excel in a sales career
  • A track record in consistently achieving and exceeding expectations on personal and team KPIs
  • Confident and articulate communication skills, at all levels
  • A commitment to the success and development of others
  • A strong digital presence or awareness

Location – Hybrid Bristol

Our new headquarters is in the Bristol area (The Paintworks). We offer a mix of home and office working because we believe both are necessary for a high performing team. We know you need some time to concentrate and avoid constant commuting, so homeworking is essential, but we also feel face-to-face time is important too.

We work in a Hybrid way with ideally 2/3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week worked remotely. We offer flexible working options also to help find the right work-life balance for you.

We currently have main offices in the UK in Bristol, Plymouth, Glasgow, and in Europe in Berlin and Brussels.
