As the Content/Social Media Marketing Manager, you will develop and deepen relationships between market audiences, users, and Spokeo by creating, innovating, and guiding all non-technical SEO, content marketing, and content syndication / distribution efforts that increase natural visibility, highly qualified organic traffic, direct conversions, and enhanced retention. You have a unique combination of skills: savvy digital business leader, story-teller, and marketer who balances analytics with creativity and strategic brand development.
Plan and execute content marketing strategies.
Align short-term goals to achieve lower and upper funnel conversions
Undertake content marketing, social channels, and blog initiatives to achieve the business objective.
Collaborate with acquisition teams to produce high-quality, engaging content.
Develop editorial calendar, manage tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Deliver engaging content focused on engagement and conversion metrics.
Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization, and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement.
Analyze and report on content performance across all distribution channels.
Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels.
Understand the best practices of mainstream social media channels.
Proven work experience as a Content marketing manager
Proficiency with WordPress, Google Analytic, Words.
Understanding of web publishing requirements as well as best practices for Facebook Content.
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences by demographic segment
Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
Expertise in social media platforms
Project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills
BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, Psychology or relevant field
