Our growing Customer Success team is looking for a Learning and Development Manager to take a holistic approach in developing a learning strategy for our internal Customer Success team and our customers.  The results of these efforts will enable Split to further drive adoption and advocacy of our software platform.   You will be successful in this role by being an active listener, project manager, and by breaking down complex ideas into relatable content.    



  • Design and implement a holistic learning strategy for onboarding new Customer Success team members to expedite ramping period
  • Perform a needs and competency assessment of current customer onboarding materials and ongoing learning needs to establish a measurable project plan, approach and deliverables 
  • Collaborate with CS leaders to curate and lead ongoing internal training and education
  • Establish ongoing cross functional collaboration with subject matter experts, product and partnership team to source and/or create appropriate enablement content
  • Develop customer facing assets, such as assessments, methodologies, and best practices based on data collected from subject matter experts
  • Manage the development, implementation, and adoption of learning management systems (LMS), skills matrix, and other tooling required to increase and measure the organizations skills and capabilities
  • Help the CS team continue to build out best practices and playbooks to address key customer scenarios


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in curriculum design/development in the technology industry
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to incorporate them into the curriculum
  • Professional experience using e-learning software or Learning Management Systems
  • Experience in professional services delivering software-based solutions a plus


Business Skills

  • Strong program manager with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help deliver business results
  • Excellent presentation skills, in addition to verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex terminology into a clear set of actions and next steps
  • Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks, while managing a diverse workload
  • Ability to compile technically complex topics and develop clear and comprehensive customer facing assets
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail


Technical Skills

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and the elements of a software release cycle a plus
  • Understanding of product experimentation and data science principles a plus
  • Experience with development tools such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc. a plus.
