As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, building and maintaining the tools and system to make our teams effective and productive. This role focuses Software Engineers at Split have strong problem solving capabilities, are great team players and have great communication skills. You have have strong experience developing and working with developers and have a passion to optimize how we work.  Split software engineers are goal-oriented, have the ability to handle interruptions while fluidly switching between several projects and dealing with issues that arise when running a highly available service. You will be driving projects from end to end. So you will be discovering the required effort, running it and rolling it out. 

Responsibilities

      • Drive our engineering efficiency
      • Drive our quality approach strategy
      • Define and own our developer experience
      • Own and manage our overall delivery pipeline
      • Partner with infrastructure to provide a seamless developer experience
      • Own our pipeline operation, including participating in on call rotation.

Requirements

      • 5+ years of relevant software development experience
      • Experience designing, building and managing delivery pipeline
      • Experience with testing strategy and frameworks
      • Passion for writing simple, modularized, elegant code that can be easily tested.
      • Personable and able to work as a member of small team. Able to contribute to projects with peers in other departments when needed.
      • Attention to details with a strong work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged, self-driven and motivated.
      • Eagerness to learn quickly about a new product and industry vertical, and to receive constructive feedback to further improve your success in the role.
