Product Designer

Product and engineering teams at Twilio, Salesforce, Comcast, EA, and JPMorgan Chase use Split to reduce software development cycles and create a data-driven culture. We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing team.   

Role and responsibilities

  • Help drive end-to-end design process from user and usability research, competitive analysis, to shipping features
  • Work through product problems from definition and opportunity to build the right solutions that delight our customers
  • Be involved in defining design strategy and thinking in terms of design systems
  • Design and prototype solutions to validate product direction
  • Self starter, capable of managing your backlog without heavy oversight and reaching out to PMs and engineers to move projects forward
  • Actively participate in design critiques and partner with engineers to build intuitive and practical solutions
  • Collaborative approach to work, you value giving and receiving peer feedback to make the best products and improve your craft
  • Demonstrate a high degree of customer empathy, and be able to tell a compelling story about the motivations and intentions of our users, inspiring all stakeholders towards action.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional design experience, ideally targeted at developers or technical audiences
  • Experience with storytelling and presenting designs to stakeholders
  • Brought thoughtful and high quality design work to market, having your products out in the market being used by customers today
  • Expert user of Figma, or comparable tool you can transition from.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with company wide design systems
  • Experience working on enterprise / SaaS software
  • Experience working with other design disciplines  UX researchers, visual designers, interaction designers, etc.
