About You

SPINS Ventures is looking for a QA Engineer with a SaaS background to join our team. You will be working alongside Product, Engineering, and our Implementation teams to ensure and improve the quality of our product offerings. This includes everything from web applications, ETL process, and measurement algorithms. We are looking for someone that is proactive, detail-oriented, passionate about finding ways to work smarter, deliver new efficiencies, and always able to keep the end-user top of mind.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Planning, writing and implementing automated and manual tests for applications on our SaaS platform
  • Performing new feature functionality & regression testing
  • Identifying, recording, prioritizing and tracking bugs end-to-end
  • Coordinating cross-functionally to ensure effective communication
  • Becoming an expert and knowledge source on all SPINS Ventures products
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Staying updated on new testing strategies and testing tools

Requirements for the job include:

  • BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a software QA role, with background of building out QA processes
  • 2+ years of experience with SaaS and  iOS/Android Platform Testing
  • Working experience with SQL
  • Experienced working in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Experience with providing thorough QA timelines

Preferable Qualification

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
  • Working experience with SQL
  • Experience with Selenium and/or security testing
