Spinnaker Support has an immediate opening for an Oracle Apps DBA with strong skills troubleshooting and migration experience. Although the role is remote, it has to be based in the UK and/or Ireland. We prefer to hire perm, but can offer as inside of IR35 as well - we cannot offer outside of IR35.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is considered level 3/4 help desk support.
  • Must have excellent customer focus and communication, friendly interaction, and a passion to help customers with their software issues.
  • Provide technical expertise required by application support team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues in an environment where online and remotely connected to the customer’s systems.
  • Must have ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by tracking issues from start to closure.
  • Occasional after hours, weekends and holiday support including participating in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of Oracle EBS (10g, 11i, 12.1 - 12.2) Application troubleshooting processes startup/shutdown, patching, workflows, concurrent manager issues, mailer configuration, SSL and HTTPS, JWS, installs and cloning
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database including the EBS database, and Real Application Clusters (RAC)
  • Good knowledge of Middleware including WebLogic, SSO and SOA
  • EBS migrations (on-prem to AWS/Azure/GCP) experience
