Who we are supporting
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) is a key agency within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) focused on providing comprehensive logistics, procurement, and support services to NATO member countries, partners, and other customers. The NSPA facilitates the collective acquisition and management of goods and services, ranging from military equipment to general supplies, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of NATO operations.
The agency's responsibilities include:
- Procurement
- Managing the acquisition of a wide range of goods and services, including military equipment, supplies, and support services.
- Logistics
- Offering logistics support such as transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure that NATO forces have the necessary resources when and where they are needed.
- Maintenance
- Providing maintenance and repair services for military equipment, ensuring operational readiness, and extending the lifespan of assets.
- Project Management
- Overseeing and implementing various projects, including infrastructure development and other support activities.
The NSPA operates under the direction of the NATO Support and Procurement Organization (NSPO), which sets the strategic goals and policies for the agency. By centralizing and standardizing procurement and logistics services, the NSPA helps NATO members achieve cost savings, improved interoperability, and enhanced operational capability.
The program
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) requires Project Support and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) consultancy services for implementing, operating and maintaining complex eBusiness solutions integrated in the NSPA environment, using the latest web technologies, Relational and non-Relational Databases, integration techniques and standards (synchronous and asynchrounous interfaces), cyber security layers and concepts.
Role Background
The scope of the role involves implementation, operations and maintenance of complex e-Business solutions based on Microsoft .NET technologies, relational and non-relational databases and the latest development frameworks and libraries available for web-based solutions.
Role Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient software delivery.
- Conduct automated code inspections and security reviews using tools like SonarQube and Dependency Tracker.
- Manage and optimize on-premises Microsoft Azure DevOps Server for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Automate security practices in web-based solutions using CI/CD pipelines and ensure integration with Microsoft development tools, .NET frameworks, and C#.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in managing Software Development Lifecycle, automation tools for implementing CI/ CD pipelines, automated code inspection and security review (such as SonarQube and Dependency Tracker).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (on-premises).
- Having a strong technical background on the implementation of web-based solutions:
- Microsoft development tools, .NET frameworks, C#
- Database design and concepts
- Major software architectures for web-based solutions
- Ability to explain issues at different levels of the hierarchy.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and technical documentation.
Language
- Proficiency in English, written and oral, equivalent to CEFR B2 or higher

- 3 years with 2 one year extensions
Travel
- Travel to other NATO sites may be required occasionally
Security Clearance
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
