Spektrum are supporting a tier 1 supplier of personnel and services to international Organisations, with more than 2,500 experienced professionals deployed, and active engagements in more than 28 countries spanning 5 continents.

Our support to this client ranges from headhunting, temp and temp to perm personal for both our client and their end clients needs.

Background

The role will be embedded within an International Organisations Global Service Centre in Brindisi, an international hub that provides a wide range of logistical, technical, and administrative support for peacekeeping and humanitarian missions around the world. Situated in Italy, this centre serves as a crucial backbone for operations, ensuring that missions have the necessary resources and infrastructure to function effectively.

The facility in Brindisi specializes in supply chain management, information and communication technology, and other essential services that aid global missions in remote and challenging environments. By coordinating the deployment of equipment, managing warehouses, and overseeing the maintenance of vital systems, the centre plays a pivotal role in the success of international efforts to promote peace and provide humanitarian assistance.

Additionally, this centre is known for its commitment to innovation and efficiency, continuously seeking ways to improve the delivery and quality of its support services. It collaborates with various international and local partners to maximize its impact, ensuring that missions are well-equipped to handle diverse and dynamic challenges.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Review all request for changes and assist in the authorization within the established delegation of authority. 
  • Analyze all reported application problems.
  • Ensure all issues are documented, categorized, prioritized, and logged on a tracking tool
  • Work closely with the development teams and help with root cause analysis and workarounds
  • Execute test cases and provide test results
  • Provide assistance to support teams and business users regarding application processes and workflows
  • Support application implementation activities, by providing training and demos to the end users.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on change and problem management activities and statistic as requested by the management

Competencies:

  • Ability to learn complex applications and analyze issues.
  • Strong organization, planning and communication skills
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals

Experience:  

  • 3 years of verifiable experience in application change management, testing, troubleshooting and implementation.
