SUMMARY

Are you an expert at facilitating cross-functional projects from beginning to end? Do you like the challenge of finding better ways to do things? Specialized is looking for a talented Product Coordinator to join our Go-to-Market team and assist in ensuring that we are delivering the best product on time

 

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

§ Responsible for leading a cross-functional team managing the product planning process from the concept phase through to Go-to-Market

§ Provide leadership, along with product management through all aspects of project timeline creation and new product introductions

§ Drive key processes to support Product Managers in release planning

§ Serve as needed tactical project manager for key Product initiatives

§ Create and maintain project templates and documentation

§ Track and assess planning metrics to evaluate and improve processes

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

· Facilitate action, resolve conflicts, maintain relationships and communicate constantly

· Ability to develop a project plan and see it through to completion

· Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Maintain an “all hands on deck” mindset in order to get the job done and immediately tackle the next project

· Personal accountability/ownership mentality

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate articulately with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and foreign contacts – a natural communicator, both written and oral

· Willing to work occasional weekends and travel (5-10%)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

· Excellent computer skills, including: database management, graphic programs, Microsoft Office, and Oracle; experience with Atlassian is highly desirable

· 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering company, developing products in coordination with manufacturers – bonus points for bicycle or a recreation-related industry

· Bachelor’s degree or two years of product coordination/development experience
