SUMMARY

The Help Desk Specialist is the glue that holds Specialized together. You will be a key member of an experienced team that enables our success by keeping laptops, desktops, and servers in optimum working order. In addition, you will provide excellent customer service and support to our users here and abroad as a front-line support specialist. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist with the administration of a variety of server systems, virtual server environments, and networking systems.

THIS WILL BE A 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT

  • Help enable our team to succeed by keeping laptops, desktops, and servers in optimum working order
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our users here and abroad as a front-line support specialist
  • Assist with the administration of a variety of server systems, virtual server environments, and networking systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN

  • Three years’ experience in PC and Mac Desktop Support or previous help desk experience
  • Image, Configure and decommission hardware AV and Virus removal
  • Troubleshoot, create and remove Active Directory / Exchange accounts
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PC and Mac)
  • Windows, macOS, iOS experience essential
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, and Office 365
  • Ability to troubleshoot network port and wireless connectivity issues
  • Linux and scripting language experience a plus
  • A+ Certification desired
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Quarterly travel is required
