How You'll Make a Difference:

  • Ensure visual merchandising consistency and brand standards are upheld within the assigned region
  • Provide accuracy and up-to-date information for all distributions of graphics, rollouts and seasonal strategies
  • Through merchandising, create a retail environment that is innovative, unique and customer-friendly
  • Work with Director of Retail Services and Visual Merchandising Manager to create seasonal floor plans and implement floor changes consistent with the store’s layout, customer demands and current product focus
  • Re-merchandise displays, point of sale and select areas of the store, regularly, to maximize product sell-through
  • Identify key employee with whom to liaise, for communication and as a point-person
  • Work with Global Retail Services in determining specific visual needs, such as fixtures, graphics and point of sales materials for stores with higher visibility
  • Regularly communicate with sales team to determine specific initiatives and support needs when in field
  • Report regularly through internal communication tools your achievements and follow up plans
  • Liaise with U.S. Marketing to create campaign-specific merchandising plans that support the marketing schedule
  • Plan and implement merchandising plans for key Specialized events in the USA
  • Occasional apparel & equipment merchandising support for internal product review

What You'll Need to Win:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Digital design knowledge including Illustrator and InDesign programs
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative ability in visual presentation through portfolio submission
  • Demonstrated understanding of product presentation
  • Elevated attention to detail
  • Flexibility on the job; ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies
  • Comfortable with team-based work structure and the ability to work independently
  • 2 years general retail experience
  • 2 years visual merchandising experience – apparel focused a plus
  • Self-disciplined and able to meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular travel will be required (50% or more of the time)
  • Must be able to safely and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be comfortable with climbing ladders
  • Must be able to work occasional long hours and weekends
