Spaulding Ridge is looking for a growth-oriented CFO to join our best-in-cloud, best-in-people, technology consulting firm. As CFO, you will be a strategic partner to the CEO, COO and leadership team, by having full oversight of developing and implementing financial strategies, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and advise our executives. We are specifically seeking a CFO who can not only ensure the already smooth functioning of our accounting department but also possesses extensive experience in finance and treasury.

In this role, the ideal candidate will focus on driving the success and profitability of the company through strategic growth initiatives, being proactive, innovative, and engaging with strong financial acumen. We are looking for a seasoned strategic finance leader with a deep understanding of how to profitably scale a high growth firm.

Ideal candidates will be able to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s short- and long-term financial strategy
  • Oversee company's capital structure, including determining the optimal mix of financing while managing all domestic and international banking relationships
  • Lead the financial operations of the organization including business planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, treasury and risk management, investment strategy and performance measurement
  • Maintain awareness of the market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.  Lead and advise on all financial aspects of M&A activity
  • Lead an integrated annual budgeting and planning process and multi-year financial scenario planning.  Manage preparation of financial plans to facilitate overall organizational objectives and program management
  • Monitor financial progress, comparing results against approved plans, benchmarks and other indicators of success and positive progress. Prepare reports and interpret financial results for management decision-making
  • Oversee audit activities. The CFO is responsible for the absolute financial integrity of the organization, against the highest standard of integrity
  • Manage intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany accounts, resolving any discrepancies, implementing tax strategies, and optimizing cash flow repatriation
  • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities 

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience in finance management, that includes 5-7 years of financial management experience working with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization in the technology consulting or professional services industry
  • Strong understanding of private equity principles, including deal structuring, financial modeling, and value creation strategies. Experience working with private equity firms and managing relationships with investors.
  • Experience overseeing financial aspects of M&A activities, including identifying potential targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and integrating acquired companies into the existing business.
  • Experience managing foreign currency exposure and exchange rate risk, implementing hedging strategies, and monitoring currency fluctuations to minimize the impact on the company's financial performance.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and IRS tax-exempt regulations
  • Ability to support an extensive overseas operation, requiring some domestic and international travel
  •  An undergraduate degree in finance or business or a related field is required; an MBA, graduate degree in Finance or equivalent degree is preferred. A CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is strongly preferred.
